This could be that the slide show is being produced at a higher resolution in the Magix software then that of the other software you have.

 

So, if you have images that are 640x480 and you export them out at 1024x768 then the quality is dramatically reduced and will suffer pixilation. The same sort of thing happens if you take a 4:3 ratio image and export it as a 16:9 ratio image. These things distort the images.

 

What can you do?

 

First, make sure all your images are the same ratio and resolution (mixing these causes undesirable effects). The first image you lead off with will set the resolution for the project, so again having everything match is a good idea.

 

Second, when you export your slide show, do not export in a resolution that is higher than the image resolution you have used in the project. If you do, then the images will be somewhat distorted, depending on the differences in resolutions.

 

The way I learned this is basically trying to take a postage stamp size image and making a movie poster from it by simply stretching it out. The program can do this, but the results are not what you would want.
