if you import an Mp3 can you seperate it like you can a live band by channel

I have downloaded the system on my laptop and i have plenty of Mp3 downloads of all kids of music, can the software .. import music and seperate it like you would a live band by track so that it can be sweetned changed and manipulated ..

how would you seperate a Mp3 download as if you had a live band

Hi,
Unfortunatly it's not possible. Once a song is mixed down you can not seperate it. The best you can do is remove the vocals from SOME songs. Beyond that you're stuck.
