You did not mention about the version you use. MMM 15 or 16 any way.
I guess first you record your music on track one and rest of tracks are empty? when you record your vocals you already have one track recorded? if that is the case, when you done recording in first track MUTE it and use second track for vocal recording. When vocals are recorded un mute track one and play.
If you want to know where Mute button is refer screen shot
Note; it will be better if you also refer you pdf help.
Good question again, in first question you talked about first recording music then vocals. How did you confirm if with vocals music is recorded? what if you go back to earlier recording, then mute the first track and listen vocals. Because first time you might be listening vocals alongwith music, did you play your vocals after you mute first track?
If not please check.
Actually I make music on computer, I do not use vocal recording or band. I will try to find answer if I can.
When Magix Music Maker is open, click on computer keyboard "R" key it will open Audio Recording window look at left No.3 QUALITY, under this you will find
Playback while recording if it is checked, un check it and tyr vocal recording.
Answer to the 11:19 question: After I recorded the vocals, I muted track 1 to make sure there was other noises picked up by the mic, and that's when I discovered the problem.
Answer to 11:46 question: I will try it soon, and let you know the results. Thanks for the instruction, Peace
It could be reasult of, other voices, sound when you use mic, therefore, it is good to use headphone which fully cover your ears.
Then it could be a latency/buffer problem. If you use or do not use any thing such as, audio interface or amplifier to connect your mic, even in that case may be you need to set your audio driver. Please read my Pdf for details.
