Hello, nabb77,
You have a AVCHD-camera, and can't Record, but must Import the files from camera to the PC. You can copy the files directly in Windows. With the USB-cable you'll find the camera as an external HD. Or from Magix choose Record < Import file. Or use a card reader for transferring the files. (I have not tried this myself). May be the files must be converted some way in MEP 14. You must have 14 Plus, to handle AVCHD-files.
