I have imported PAL analogue video into Magix Movie edit pro 14 and I am having problems with \'clicking\' and \'sqeaking\' sounds on the soundtrack. How do I get rid of these?

I need help with getting rid of clicks and squeaks on the audio soundtracks of the videos I have imported into Magix Movie Edit Pro 14.

The video source is PAL analogue.

What can I do to fix this problem?

I think I can help you. I had the same problem recording electric bass guitar with an effects box. A big screeeech then ticks and pops. Try adjusting the gain on the source to a lower level. There seems to be a bit of a lag for the software to adjust the volume if it is way too high.
