I had music studio 10 deluxe on my old computer with xp and put it on my laptop whith vista and it worked but i cannot get it to work on my new home computer with vista why ?

Music Studio 10 deluxe was released somewhen in 2005, wasn't it? This means they finished the developing work...let's say, somewhen in spring 2005.

Windows Vista has been available for companies since november 2006, and it hit the stores around 30th january.

You can not prepare a product for an operating system, which isn't even existig. There are also no patches for these old products.

You will have to use XP to use Music Studio 10 deluxe, or maybe buy a new version. You may receive the one from last year cheaper than the latest, and both work with Vista...
