I purchesd music maker 17, installed it, registred it and well half the tracks dont work, saying the file has been moved or deleted, i try to get an online update and it tries to make me re register, and when i do, it says its already been registred and thats as far as the online update will go.

Plus, the trial version had more traks than the full version.

i really dont feel like paying for support when i just purchased this and its already proving too be a stupid investment.

any ideas?

Yes...you start here.  It's a VERY common issue.  Calm down, take a deep breath and read this PDF file...

Exactly, what do you mean by "tracks"?  Do you mean the tracks in the arranger or soundpool samples?

If you indeed have the Basic version, you will likely be dissappointed with the amount of samples in the soundpool.  That's because they WANT you to spend more money to get more content.  We highly recommend that you upgrade to the Premium version.

"i have to go and make a new file for pretty much every loop"

Sorry...I have no idea what you're talking about.

"...but it is giving me less then advertised,..."

Sorry, but it didn't.  You just didn't realize that most samples have seven keys/versions, and they count each one as an individual sample (which, technically, it is).

Again, as a business, it is their goal to suck you in and get you to spend more money.  Caveat emptor.

MMM always starts out in Easy Mode.  To access the all of the functions, you need to turn Easy Mode OFF.  There is a switch just below the MAGIX logo.

It is very common to have installation issues for the download versions of MMM.  I'm surprised you may have had any problems with the boxed DVD version.  I'd suggest looking at the files on the DVD to see if you have in fact received all of the soundpool styles listed.  If you have, simply copy the miising styles to the "Basic_17" folder.  Then, in the arranger, click on the "Add styles" link, locate the folders on your HDD and install them.

I have no idea why you don't have all of the menus.  It is my understanding that MAGIX does not charge for tech support for INSTALLATION PROBLEMS within the first 30 days.  You need to call them and explain your situation.

"there is obviosuly something else wrong here then just having to make music copies,..."

I still don't know what you're talking about.  WHY do you need to "make copies", and what are you doing with them?
