Hi there,

What exactly does that mean? Do you see the preview monitor and its transport controls, but no matter what kind of video material you import and play back, it always displays black, or do you not see any video preview monitor at all, including the transport controls and so on? In the latter case, it might just have been accidentally disabled. So, there's a big gap in your screen layout now. You can turn it back on via the "Window" menu ("Program monitor" option), or hit the "V" key to toggle the preview monitor display, or hit the F9 key on your keyboard to restore the entire default layout (including the preview monitor).  :-)

I hope this helps.

I dont think thats his problem. At least its not mine. When I click on a segment or a photo it flashes but goes black. The player is there.  Im familiar with the whole player disappearing, thats not the problem. My player is there but the screen is black except for the momentary flash. I have changed all setting back to default, hit f9 and gone thru all the settings when I right click on the video playback section....
