Help...

I just bought this program...love it.  I made a slide show dvd with music that plays well on my dvd play, but cannot play on a computer.  I get a message that Windows Media cannot play this type of format.

This dvd is a gift for a someone who is leaving our community and I'd really like to have it work for him on his comuter.

Thanks for any help.

Hi

Windows Media Player cannot play DVD's - you need a program such as PowerDVD or VLC to play them on a computer.

I would suggest you give the person the DVD so they can play it on a DVD player and:

Export the movie as a mpg or mp4 or both, and burn this / these direct to disc and give them this disc as well so they can play it on a computer. You would of course have no menus or chapters if you created them on this disc.
