Any chance you're talking about audio recording in Magix Audio Cleaning Lab here? The Cleaning Lab timeline shows a default duration of 10 minutes as long as your project is still empty or you have only imported a shorter file. However, this doesn't mean you can only record 10 minutes. If you just perform the recording and it goes beyond the 10 minute mark, the project size will automatically be increased and the timeline duration and zoom factor will change.

Another thing that comes to mind is the auto-stop option. This is in the audio recording dialog of Cleaning Lab. If you actually already tried recording and you noticed that it cuts off too early, you might want to try turning this checkbox off. Maybe there's some quiet passage in your recording that is mistaken for the end of your tape.
