By the lack of an answer I assume that there is no way to save your own effects in this program. That is very short sighted. By the way what is this program really called Fotostory or Photostory????????????

Hi

IIRC - in Timeline mode, right click the object with the effects you want to save, from the popup menu there should be an option Video effects, Save effects

. . . . what is this program really called Fotostory or Photostory . . . .

Both, in Europe it is Fotostory, UK, US, and other English speaking countries Photostory.

Thank you John, however there does not appear to be the option Video Effects only Effect settings (see attached). I did right click on the center of the clip.

Thanks also for the explanation for the name. Maybe the forum heading should have both names as I thought it may have been an old program.
