@roger-solnevik In case it's still blocked, please allow microphone access for desktop applications in the Windows security settings:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/turn-on-app-permissions-for-your-microphone-in-windows-10-94991183-f69d-b4cf-4679-c98ca45f577a

In the Samplitude program settings (which can be opened by pressing the Y key on your computer keyboard) navigate to the audio setup. There select an ASIO driver, for example Magix Low Latency. You can also install the free ASIO4ALL driver. If you have an external USB audio interface with ASIO drivers select the driver of the interface here.

Below the driver selection is the control panel button. Click here to open the ASIO driver settings. Here you need to select your audio input and audio output and set the sample buffer size to something reasonable like 512 samples.

Close the ASIO driver control panel. At the bottom of the audio settings is a monitoring mode slider. For monitoring audio during recording move the slider to Mixer FX Monitoring Hybrid Engine (the rightmost position).

Close the settings with click on OK.

Does it work now?
