How to get the first piece of my midi recording to play during playback?

Ok, i will try to explain in as much detail as i can give, simmer down if i don't use the correct names of things, i am a noob to this still. When i make a recording in the midi editor from my korg m50 workstation everything comes out fine. I have quantized the recording to 16th note and it all matches up fine. Here lies the problem... when i hit the play button for some reason it excludes the first bar of the recording. When i reopen the midi editor the notes within the first bar are a shade lighter than the rest. I have tried to make the adjustments manually and move the box over to the right to make up for it and have the recording start at the next cycle in my loop but when i do that it seems to readjust itself and again for the first bar it refuses to play whatever is recorded in there. I do not think it is a latency issue because everything is right on time, my workstation is in sync. I just can't figure out how to get it to play from the beginning of the data box. For some reason it always play back with the first part muted. Even when i set the yellow bar loop at the top to loop a different part of the track it takes the start point and mutes about one bar worth of sound. Oh yeah, sorry we got off on the wrong foot pro.

I seem to have found a work around if i have overdub selected and let it loop through the selcted track once and on the second loop play while its on record it starts it out no problem, but if someone knows a setting somewhere i need to change and would still like to assist it would be appreciated, thanks.
