How to get Photostory to use my updated images?

Hi when I load a project, it uses photos that are no longer in any folders for photostory. I keep having to replace them with new ones. Filename is the same, I just have made edits that do not load? Is there a cache anywhere I can delete. ALso tried renaming folders ,to force it to load the edited photos, but no luck? Thanks for any help

Hi

. . . . . Is there a cache anywhere I can delete. . . .

There is a cache, however there is no option to clear it within the program, to clear it - save the project and restart Photostory.

If you change the image while Photostory is running and has the project loaded, an alternative way is to save the updated image(s) adding, for example, a suffix to the filename, select the old version on the timeline, select the new version in the Media pool, then click the Exchange button, see image below, this will exchange the images and update the cache.

Do note that any effects etc applied to the old image are not applied to the replacement.
