I don't want to use the loops that the program has, instead I want to use sounds in beatbox mode and compose my own loops? and I want to import a song from my hard drive onto Magix Music Maker, but it won't allow me to, how do I do this?
Hi,
Creating you own loops can be done several ways depending on if you're using samples or MIDI sequencing - Beatbox or etc. I suggest reading the manual for some ideas there.
As far as importing a song, make sure it's in a format Magix supports. You can't use certain formats. For best results the song should be in .wav or .mps (not m4u & etc.)
Assuming you are using MM-15 (you didn't say), the only way I've found to import audio tracks is to use the File Manager to locate the file on your hard drive and double-click on it. The track will be imported into your arrangement.
I have no idea why they removed this necessary option from the FILE > IMPORT menu. It makes no sense to me.
