How do you record your own music on Music Maker 15 and use the onboard drums as an accompaniment at the same time.

I have a linear mind and software is hard for me to learn, both by watching videos and even books, as there are always assumptions about having an existing understanding. I really need a private tutor alongside.

However, the first question I ask is, how does one record a vocal and maybe guitar, while using the drum beats from the program at the same time. It's probably obvious, but I'm not intuitive.

This is a great question.......we are both wanting to use the drums as backing tracks (if you will) while recording our instruments!!! Please answer this question!

Well, first you would create a rhythm track and then play (record) along with that.

The problem is you need to have an interface (sound card, etc.) that is capable of full-duplex operation (simultaneous play and record) so you can hear the rhythm track while you're playing (recording).
