How do you change the beat pattern?

I have posted this question before. I am wondering if I have a problem with my program, because the information that is stated in the manual and the information that have gotten on this forum does not solve the problem. I have changed the time many times to change the beat pattern from 4/4 to 3/4 and have clicked on the space to do that, but it does not change anything, so I am trying to find out if there is someplace else to do this or if the program is just not responding .

Yes, I know that people get upset when elementary questions are asked before an adequate amount of time is spent studying the manual, but I feel that I have done that and tried a lot of different things. (If you will look I have posted this same question over 2 months ago.) In addition, it is impossible to get a support person to address this issue. So where does one get answers. I am using the MM16 loaded on a vista operated machine.

I have just read your question and also found you had asked it in February I guess and gotten one answer. I use MMM 16 Premium download version. My OS is windows vista too.
Honestly speaking, so far I did not make any changes as you said, but I checked the setting I tried to 3/4 click OK and it changed beat. I am attaching image shot you can see though you already knew. From Key board press "E" or from file
settings Arrangements.

I can 100% understand your frustration when you want to do something and can not move without answer. I tell you when I am in a situation like yours. I post one question in this forum where user can share experiences. Then I ask with Magix customer support. So far Magix Customer support in my case are good.
I request please try customer support in details your problem. After sending question if you are luck you will sooner other wise one week to 2 week usually.
But the best part they provide very nice support.

Or there is one way, if you let me know what you are doing in details I will do exactly on my computer then I will let you know my results. This I can do for you ok.
