How do you burn mp3 files to a CD-R using MMM16?

Well,

I would like to put some MP3 songs on a ''CD'', but I want them do be on a so-called ''Audio CD'', no mp3 files on CDs! Only Audio CDs..

I think that means on a CD-R... So can you then directly burn a (MP3) song via MMM16 to a CD-R, and more importantly how?

Sorry for my little knowledge on these things....

Thx

p.s. extra question: Does the quality go down if you import on mp3 file in MMM and export it again?

MP3 is poor quality to begin with, its only claim to fame was file size to sound quality ratio.

Technically, and Audio CD is in a .cda format, which is the equivalent of .wav format. This is the highest quality format you can have.

Burning MP3 to disc is making a Data disc, as you are writing the MP3 Data to the CD, some players can read this, but it is not an Audio CD.

I am going to say no, that the Music Maker is not burning a MP3 Data CD, although I am sure you can by choosing under the drop down menu "File" then selecting "Back up disc" then to where it says "Manually burn files onto..." there you can probably burn the files as mp3.

pretty simple... Just realise how easy it is, if I'm really correct. Download software that automatically burn mp3 on to audio CD and it does it for you.

That depends...

If you are exporting at the same bit rate, then no - the quality will not go down.

If you export at a lower bit rate than the original, then yes -  the quality will go down.

If you are concerned about quility, you wouldn't be working with MP3's in the first place.  But, yes I know, that is sometimes unavoidable.
