How do I stop the flexible crossfade transition from causing a flash of the next photo?

I have PhotoStory on DVD 2013 Deluxe version 12.03.80 (UDC2).

Sometimes wheny using the Flexible Crossfade transition it will produce a flash of the next slide on the burned DVD, but not on the preview. I, therefore, do not know whether I will get the corruption until I burn the DVD.

Zoom in on the timeline to the crossfade where this occurs in the project.

Step through the crossfade from just before the start of it and just past the end - you should see the 'flash'.

It is probably one stray frame from one of the clips that is crossfading.
