How do I make a still scene from downloaded video footage?

I see the option to make a snapshot when recording from external source.
I like to make still photos from existing video footage for the end of our weddings. Is the only way to do this means I have to download the footage all over again and make a still scene? It's so easy to make a still frame from VISTA Moviemaker, I scroll through a scene to choose my still and there's a still frame button. Couldn't find anything like this in Movie Edit 14 (version 15 just came out a couple days after I bought 14.....grrrr........

Hi there,

You won't have to re-download the video footage from the camera. There's an easy function to extract stills in Movie Edit Pro as well. Just put your play cursor on the desired frame, so it shows up in the preview monitor, and go to the "File" menu => "Export movie" sub menu => "Single frame as JPEG/BMP" function. (There's also a hotkey associated with each image file format.)

I hope this helps!
