How do I insert titles at the beginning of the film i.e. not superimposed on the first frame?

Use the timeline, switch to intelligent mouse mode (Alt+2), click in the first scene, hold your courser down and pull all the scenes to the right to create some empty space for the title. Press the title editor (Strg+T). A title will be created below the first scene, now move it to the very beginning of your film...
