how do i insert my logo over an image?

I am using the flyer design software and I uploaded a picture for the backgroud of the flyer but whenever I add my logo over the background it automatically replaces the photo instead of add my logo on top of the existing image. Please advise

The technique you require is to use Layers, more details are in the installed PDF manual.
