how do i get the voice recording timing to match the track?

Hi,
You're experiencing audio latency... very common.

Make sure you are using good audio recording drivers (preferably ASIO) and you have plenty of buffer room and plenty of memory. The driver and buffer settings are made in Music Maker.

Record using a good interface and you should be fine. If you can't correct your latency problem then it's hardware related and you'll have to align your tracks manually... zoom in and slide them over until they sync.

Also try the free ASIO driver from WWW.ASIO.COM
