this is not so easy, thanks to Apple & the music industry.

As long as you have MP3 it will not be a problem. But if you use the Apple owned format AAC it will have a digital rights management (DRM). This "protection" prohibits any way of change or adaption. You can not add anything or make songs shorter. The music maker is by law forbidden to play such protected files, so it is not supported. Thanks, Mr. Jobs!

But there is a stupid workaround. If you burn an Audio CD with itunes and you rip the CD again (as MP3 files) you can kill the DRM protection. The MP3 files you can load in Music Maker...
