How do I close gaps in my movie?

I am very new at this so please explain in detail. What I am doing is editing my movie, taking out certain scenes and such. Well I am left with gaps if I dont move every scene individually to close them. What do I do to fix this.

You could switch to the storyboard, right-click on A/B and select "no transitions" and "Apply to all" further down.
CAUTION:By this all the transitions will be reset to "no transitions" and the gaps will be closed.
Alternatively, you have to move all the scenes manually.
