I have created a song and now would like to add a video. I read somewhere that there are sample video available for MMM 16... where can I find these? or how else can I create some visuals to go with my song?

Answer to your question.
If you have saved song project open that or if it is in audio format from file manager browse locate and drag and drop on Track one on the arranger.
When you use Music maker Easy Mode must be turned off, when easy mode is off it will look like the image below. I have marked in Red with numbers follow that. Note these screen shots are from MMM 16 Premium.
Then click on Templates and after that click on Video Fx these are the only available effect. Other that you can also use title etc. If you click on desired Video Fx it will be played in the player, when you are satisfied drag it on arrager. To adjust the duration of video effect drag to right you can also add various effects in the same song instead of one. Do some experiments you will like it.
