When playing an sound que from the file manager no display of elapsed time is displayed. I would love to know when the que is about to end.

I may not understand your question well but here is some gudiance.
When we use Soundpool or audio from File Manger click on it, it begin to play.
If you look at transport lever it will be moving but to get best do as follows refer images
Open Music Maker
Click on File Manager, choose your audio and click once on it then click Stop button on transport lever and Play. As you can see lever is at the starting point in this screen shot.(refer red marked places).
In this screen shot you can see audio file is in the middle.
In this third screen shot you will noticed the audio is about to be ended.

I was hoping you had the answer, but it didn't work for me. If I click a file under File Manager, it plays, then I hit STOP, then PLAY, the blank area in the editor plays nothing.

In the blank area nothing will be played as files are being viewed in File Manager they will just play and transport lever will be moved. Refer screen shot.
I will click an audio file as mentioned previously.
Check all red marked places, you will also notice in the Workplace/arranger area there is no audio file only using File Manager, then I click(procedure as explained presiously)
Now I am confused, Music Editor and Music maker are two different things, we can use Music Eiditor while using Music Maker or as stand alone.
Unless you will drag and drop audio file on the arrange (workplace) it could not be added.
