What do you mean by "online"? Are you wanting to store files in the cloud? Or. . .? Please clarify.

As far as transfer to a usb drive, just copy your files using Windows File Explorer. Or did you have something else in mind?

I don't use online (cloud) storage, so can't help here.  I think you need to look at a specific service and follow their directions for configuring file storage.  Having said that, see this thread:

There is some useful information here.

Also, there's an interesting discussion about OneDrive here:

If you're thinking of doing remote collaboration, here are a couple of links (no mention of Music Maker, though):

Hi

. . . . keep my .mmm project online . . . .

Hi

It helps us to help you if you give more informative detail on what you are wanting to do, eg what is the purpose of putting the 'project' online, as back up, sharing with other users of Music Maker, for people to listen to or what?

JOHNEBAKER HEY
I want to back up my projects and transfer them to another computer. Can you tell me which folders and files I should select when transferring?

johnebaker wrote on 7/9/2024, 10:14 AM

@howlin-wolvez

Hi

Assuming the second computer installation is identical, including effects, soundpools and VST instruments and no external audio files are used, then you only need to copy the project file, .MMM, to the second computer.

Otherwise use the File, Backup, Save project and used media option to save the project in a folder specified by you. Copy this folder to the 2nd computer via USB memoery stick.
