I just recently got a bluescreen while my project was open. The project had been saved a bunch of times before and now it won't let me open it when I try to. I even tried the backup files but it says "0 of 43 files were opened". Please help me get my project back to where I left off.

To open project files is only possible if it is saved. In Music Maker we can set back up time, example:
if back up time is set as: Save arrangement backups automatically 10 minutes and you got blue screen at 6th minutes when you were using program then there is a possibility backup file is not saved.
But you can try this
Open Music Maker
File/Load arrangements
a window will be opened look at right below from drop down menu choose All files, you will be able to see BAK files locate your files and click on it and open. If project is opened then re save it immediately.
OR
I use MMM 16 Premium and Windows vista. Giving you example from that. You check your system and follow:
Music Maker save Crash files in Program Data/Magix/Magix Music Maker 16 Premium/User Data/Crash
Open this Crash folder you will find all details of crash files with name and date. Double clikc on the required file it should open it. Try your luck.
