how can I control the length of a recording

I record poems via microphone onto Magix 12--but I have trouble controling how much long the recoding will last --my poems are less than a minute long--but most of the time, the recording stops before then.

This is such a terrible problem in many versions of Magix. No other recording software does this and I don't know what they were thinking.

Near the top of your screen you have start and end markers that designate the beginning and the end of a song. Instead of continuing to record as EVERY OTHER recording software does Magix stops reccording at the end marker. I've lost many a good take with this bug.

The solution is to either start with new project or simply drag the end marker way to the right to give you plenty of space (time) to record.

This is very frustrating and I feel your pain. Make sure you post your stuff here and share with the community.
