HitFilm Cinema Style Pack

Ive purchased movie edit pro premium pack coming with a bunch of templates add ons and so on...included was HitFilm Cinema Style Pack.

I've downloaded and activated it according to the purchase email links and in the platform they show alright.

issue is that when I try to apply the cinema effect to a clip it shows a pink watermark...and no way around to get it off from the clip..even after exporting the clip they appear..

what am I doing wrong?..

also, when the pop up bx from vfx or HitFilm Cinema Style Pack supplier comes on to register it does not accept the license key received in my email...although I've set it up according t the email instructions and them showing in my extra/addtitional effects tab..

Any suggestions or help appreciated..!

NB: same happens with Newblue plugins..

HI Natalia.

It's not registered.

You have to go to each individual site for each supplied plugin and register each product with the key that is displayed in the download circle for that product. If you haven't had to set up an email account for each plugin at that developers site, then it is not activated.

thanks CubeAce...I guess I needed a bit more pressing to go through registration although email instructions, for me, are not that straightforward ....thank you for your quick reply and help! sorted..👍👍

I don't think they are straightforward for anyone. It always takes me ages to do.

Do make notes of any login details and passwords you use for each site because if you ever need to reinstall the program of rebuild your machine or put the program onto a new machine, you will have to go over the whole process again. While your details for the main program is with your Magix registration page, the rest are not.

Registration of the Hitfilm and NewBlue plugins is usually 'in program' - on first use, or after a re-install, a popup should appear asking you to register them, the issue is the popup, more often than not, is hidden under the program window.

Hi John.

I think when people start using MEP they may just ignore that popup. I know I did, not being aware of its importance at the time and sometimes still ignore it while downloading the rest of the plugins and do it later in the installation procedure. To be fair I never even noticed a 'Read Me First' guide to any instillation of MEP.

One easy way to get a registration link to the relevant website to come back if you miss it the first time around is to apply an offending effect to a video clip residing on the timeline within the editor, and then click on the clip then showing in the viewing monitor. That has always worked for me.

Old topic - hoping someone can help. My desktop was damaged during the recent hurricane, so I had to get a new (refurbished) unit. I reinstalled MEP successfully with the included effect packages (NewBlue/HitFilm Cinema Pack), but when I apply an effect from the HitFilm Cinema Pack MEP crashes. Does anyone know why this happens? I "seemed" to have registered correctly...but maybe I'm missing something? Thanks in advance for any help. Harry D.
