I very much doubt that you can be sent a new activation code for Hitfilm Stylized Pack since these are generated/offered only at the original time of supply/download I believe. Just to be clear, are you saying this add-on came with an earlier version of MEP and is no longer usable in the latest version?

I don't have that specific add-on but I do have a small number of Hitfilm products (as add-ons) that have been and still are available over more than one recent version of both MEP and VPX. So, I assume you didn't fully install this particular pack when you first downloaded it?

As always, it is the purchaser's responsibility to carefully and fully install and test any new software and to keep a record of any applicable serial numbers.

In the circumstances I think your only option is to use the Contact button in the header of any forum page to contact Magix Sales, explain the problem and ask whether they can help you. They may genuinely be unable to do so, for the reasons given above.

Hi Ray, I think that particular "route" is only available IF the software has been previously fully installed and simply requires to be reinstalled.

Just out of interest Jeff, have you recently looked at where the 'Support Button' now takes you?

It's not as easy to get to an email address for an enquiry as it once was.

Trying to get an activation code for my HEVC codec last time my machine crashed was a nightmare of finding a contact address. Worse than my internet service provider 😆.

Have you seen the How to contact support option when you get to the Search for other solutions option it takes you here - little convoluted at first, however for a majority of issues the solution may exist.

Yes I went through the whole process recently and still had to contact support where upon that last screen that is supposed to have your current machine setup didn't work. Well, it sort of did but then sent my old details when I hit the send button, despite having correctly got my new details correct beforehand. Luckily, a few emails later and it was sorted.

The automated 'Send me and activation code' for the HEVC codec has always for me ended up with an automated email with the code of '0' which of course never works. Yet the Main Concept codec always installs without a problem.

Not that I mind, it must be every companies dream to never have to deal with customer enquiries. 😆

Personally I can't wait to have a decent conversation with an AI. It would beat making my way around pages of info trying to get an email address.

That is definitely a bug - the last few times I had to use it in 2019, I could edit the details later on in the submission page.

Well I think they are aware of it now but I wouldn't have needed it if the reactivation page for the HEVC codec worked.

Still, that's MAGIX.

At least when you do get hold of them they are very helpful. Can't fault them on that score.
