I have FastCut Plus paid version. It suppose to support HEVC files from my GoPro Hero7 Black 4k 60 frame video, but when I load file like this only appear one window said ""please wait"" and then nothing it disappear and noting happens. Is there any solution how can I import that kind do file in the FastCut Software?

I write to Technical Support for almost a mount and the final answer that I got is:

"These are my last suggestions before I have to give up:

Please uninstall C:\Program Files\Bitdefender\Bitdefender Security\bdagent.exe
since it is not needed on Windows 10 and could be the reason for the faulty HEVC activation.

Please go to "Help > Deactivate program" and then close it. Now open the program. The activation dialogue should appear. Please enter your email address manually (not via copy paste) and then do the same with the serial number.

After successfull program activation, please try again to import the HEVC file.

"

It doesn't work and he give up...

I have no solution from Technical Support...
I hope someone from the forum will find....

Good news. I seem to have found the workaround for the issue.

1) Start magix fastcut as the windows Administrator user
In windows 10: right click on program icon, select more.... 'run as administrator'.

2) Try opening one of the hevc files. (You will see the same 'please wait' dialog), however, this time the file will open.

3) Close Fastcut and start as the normal user.

It continues to work opening hevc files successfully without the 'please wait' dialog :-)
