The first thing I would recommend is that you get all the Windows updates, then make sure you have the latest drivers for your graphics and sound card.

Once you have done that, I recommend reinstalling the Music Maker 17 Premium (and or repair). When you reinstall this program make sure nothing else is running... if you have small icons that hang around the system clock, then you have other programs running from startup. Anyone of those could have caused an installation error. It is important that you install software with nothing else running that can impede on its installation.
