Hi,

Since nobody has made an answer if you are not allergic to French this is the solution :

1) You can use the jog wheel to find the exact position and add special marker to the beginning and to the end you can move marker see in my Web http://www.protuto.com/page28.html

Select the first movie this is standard quality.

YR

Yvon, your link appears to be a tutorial for the 'Delux' ediiton and is very different from the Video Easy 4HD I'm using.  Thanks.

Hi,

May be you can find the same tools because all Magix programs are very similar since many years. I hope this can help you. I made some tutorials in French to help a friend.

Regards,

YR

H,

Watch the tutorial on Video Editing on the Magix.com site for Video Easy. With this product you have very few options and tools for editing. There is no Timeline mode, only Storyboard mode.

If you really want to do more serious editing, you should upgrade to Movie Edit Pro Plus, not basic, as the basic version is also limited in what you can do..

browi2:  Thanks, that's what I'm doing but with a long video (90') using the top bar sliders is stiill far to gross for fine control.  If necessary, I'll have to upgrade.  Appreciate your input.

Yvon... if you could kindly tell me where in your video editing is discussed I'd appreciate it.  I'm not able to sit through 24' of video in French (which I don't speak) in hopes of recognizing what I need to see.  Thank you.
