Having trouble to create a pure Iso file

Good evening.

After the recent update on photostory deluxe I am unable to create a pure Iso file when trying to burn my project. I have an external DVD writer that photostory does not pick up, so I have to create my DVD's afterwards using an Iso file.

However, after recently doing an update on the program, I am no longer able to do so. The program tells me it is going to create an Iso file but the creates VOB's instead. When trying to put this onto a DVD it creates a Data disc and not a pure DVD. Meaning it does not immediately go to my DVD menu when inserting the disc into a DVD player.

Any help to get this sorted will be much appreciated.

@Cyril-Cloete

Hi and welcome to the form.

. . . . . The program tells me it is going to create an Iso file but the creates VOB's instead. . . .

Assuming when you click the Burn button you get the save ISO file dialog as shown below then -

Photostory creates the VOB files in a separate folder - by default this is the Photostory Deluxe\Disc Images\ folder in your Documents folder - this is what I think you are seeing and is the first part of creating an ISO file.

These files are then packed into the ISO file, located in the folder specified in the save ISO dialog (red arrow) shown below?
