Has Samplitude Music Studio 15 been superceded by producer 11.5 it just seems to have vanished prom the products list

Yes, basically that's what happened. The name of the product line changed (which partly reflects some changes in the technical specifications). There was a Samplitude Producer version 11 between Music Studio 15 and Samplitude 11.5 Producer. So, the current generation is already two generations up from Samplitude Music Studio 15.
