Guitar import

I have Magix Premium and i want to import my eletric guitar for recording.

It is driving me nuts i cant seem to do it.

I have a usb guitar interface which i have run the software for, i have installed an asio driver, and i cant get it to work!

i need a step by step tutorial please...from start to finish. especially i need info on the settings for magix. i am running windows 7 64 bit.

Hi

1.  a.   Select Control Panel, Sound. 

     b.    On the Recording tab check the Recording device drop down and see if your USB device is listed. 

     c.     If not right click the central area and select Show Disabled Device and Show Disconnected Devices to see if it appears

     d.     If it is disabled, right click and try to enable it. 

     e.     If it can not be enabled or the device is not there then you probably have a driver issue - you will need 64 bit drivers for the device, check the manufacturers website.

2. If the device is listed, set it as the Default - it should now be detected by MMM

3. In MMM select File, Import, Audio Recording and select the USB device.
