Future Features Requests

Just wondering....

Is this the place where we can put feature requests in order to improve your software?

There are a few things I think that MP3 Deluxe MX would really benefit from.

One is the possibility of creating dynamic playlists like offered by so many other MP3 jukeboxes like iTunes.  The current one is not customisable and the Mufin auto playlists are also very limited.  I'm talking one where you could set up criteria for a playlist, and when it is loaded it is immediately updating the playlist, refreshing it, with the filters, and advanced search criterias entered.

Another is the current annoyance, (apart from the software not being able to play m4a files, which other players I know of currently can) that this software still loads m4a files when doing an import from iTunes.  If the player can't play them, there is little use of even loading those files apart from maybe working with the MP3 tags/properties.  I would like to see an option where users could specify, which filetypes get imported when doing an import.

MP3 Deluxe has got some really nifty features, however many others I assumed it had are still missing.

I would also like to see more customisation for crossfades for example.

And one thing I really am missing is the possibility of creating playlist folders, not just playlists.

iTunes seems to be a bit more advanced in that area.

I would be really a major fan and promoter of Magix MP3 Deluxe MX if it started incorporating some of these very handy features and enhancements in upcoming releases.

And what would be even better if at some stage files in m4a format could also be played.  I am sure there would be ways to achieve this.  If other software makers can do this.

Otherwise thumbs up Magix, I'm looking forward to see what you're coming up with next, and may this forum grow.
