Free trial problems of Acid Music Studio 11

I have three problems with Acid Music Studio 11: maintaining software recognition of my MIDI keyboard without going through the "Show Me How" steps or any steps for future recordings; the "arm for record" dial (red button) will not activate unlike the one for audio track; and when recording MIDI track and audio separately, the MIDI track does not have a playback at all.  I am currently on a trial version for this software to decide if I may or may not make a purchase.  I have Windows 10 with 64 bit operating system. These issues are frustrating for me.

Hi, welcome to the Magix forums.

I wonder whether these problems you are seeing are caused by the fact that the Trial versions of all Magix software tend to be in some way "restricted"; i.e. only the purchase of the full version will make these settings available to you?

I don't have any version of Acid installed so am just guessing! Perhaps if you email shop@magix.net they will be able to advise you whether what you are seeing is a deliberate limitation of the Trial version.
