Font will not display properly

I downloaded a custom font for a project i was planning to work on. When i finish typing the text it kept the font style but the spacing so the first letter goes away, I get giant gaps missing letters, and letters get thrown on top of eachother

What font, and what version of Movie Edit Pro, I will try to reproduce the problem and see what if anything can be done.

I have a very similar problem with my MEP16 80% of my fonts will not work. For example I go to the title menu, pick my templete then the title shows on the window highlighted in blue. I then write my title, then check on the title box which pops up with options, so I say I want the Palamino font it then shows up in my widow stll highlighted in blue, I then hit the check button on the right of the window and the font goes back to the default, arial. Some of my Fonts do work Baby Kruffy for example will work but most do not.

I've checked this out, but unfortunately I do not have either of the fonts that the two of you have mentioned.

What I did notice is that in my drop down list of fonts, I have some which have a "@" symbol in front of the name, none of those work. All my others, they do work. I am not sure what that might mean though.

The Runescape font I tried to download, but the extraction program would not allow me to extract it.

I have contacted MAGIX support to look at this as well as linking them this part of the MAGIX.info page.
