Using Rescue Your Videotapes. I am trying to finalize a video. It starts and then stops part of the way through the video. Always stops at the same place. What can I do.

I am trying to save my project on my computer in the WMV formate so I can further edit and make aDVD. I am using Rescue My Video. I can import an analog video with no problem. I can also edit and save in the Video easy SOS project file ( a Rescue My Videotape formate). However, after editing, I start Finish Video to save in the WMV formate to my computer. I keep getting the following message: ' export was not successful. Try with another setting ..."
I am trying to save to my computer. Although it does not seem to matter where I try to save. Finish video stops at the same place. I continuously try this and ocassion it will work on a part of the file. So I continue with periodic success.
I have a i7 PC system with 1tb hard drive and 16 gig of ram. Can anyone please give me some help. I would truely appreciate it.

Can you not do what you want in RYVT (Video Easy) and then make the DVD direct from there or are you intending to use a different program for more complex editing?
Have you tried exporting as mpg instead of wmv?
I should also have previously asked which version of RYVT are you using?

Thanks for the info. I am using RMVT version 3.The program also stops when I am trying to save to a DVD.
