File display

A *.ppt file is available via file explorer, but the same file, in the same location, is not displayed in Photostory. Another *.ppt file, in the same location, is displayed in Photostory 2022. How can this be rectified?

Photostory cannot import Powerpoint project/document files, ie those with a .ppt, or .pptx file extension.

Below is a screen shot of what I see if there are 2 Powerpoint files in a folder - the fact you are seeing a 'Powerpoint' file in the same location would suggest that the file is a supported image or video file that has been exported from Powerpoint and the full filename + extension is not showing.
