Fender Mustang USB interface and Samplitude

Hello,

I'm running Samplitude Music Studio 2014 on Window 7 with an M-Audio card.  I recently purchased a Fender Mustang 3 guitar amp that has a built in USB interface for recording.  I loaded the fender ASIO driver and Samplitude seems to see the amp OK when I switch the ASIO settings from the M-Audio card to the Mustang.  I can see the levels from the amp on the meters but can't hear the output from the card.  If I record something  from the amp, It seems to record OK because if I switch back to the card, I can hear what I did.

So how do I set up Samplitude so I can have the Mustang amp as an input, but the M-Audio card for playback/monitoring?  I couldn't see a way to do this since it seemed to be one or the other, but not both at the same time.

thanks,

Brad

If I understand you correctly, it seems as if you are telling us that you are using this amp to record AND your MAudio card at the same time to record.  Is this what you are doiing ?  If so , I suspect one of these devices needs to be a slave to the other "controllinng" device.  Thhis is myy best guess.  I'l see if otherss have better ideeas.

Actually, I want to use the Mustang as an input source, but I need the soundcard working to monitor and hear the tracks I'm playing to.

I spent some more time tonight playing with the ASIO settings and got it to work.  The Mustang amp played direct into the software and I could monitor with the M-Audio card.  Now I need to figure out if I can reduce the latency as there is a fraction of a second delay in monitoring this way.
