I am using Magix movie Studio 2023 Suite. version 22.0.3.172 (udp3) UG code 8474K

I am trying to follow a YouTube video for Magix edit 2020. I also shows it in2022 by DCP.

I find the colour wheel is not as good in terms of saving colours etc.

Hi

If you are wanting to create many titles with the same font and colour across multiple projects then you can save the settings, fonts, colour, size etc, of a modified title as a Title template - click the dropdown top right of the titles dialog box for the options.

To use the template create the 'base' titles then apply the saved title template.

Alternatively if you require the same font, colour, size etc for the one project, a quicker way is to create the first title, modify as required and then Click + drag to duplicate it, as many times as required, and change the text.

The latter is my preferred method.

On March 18, I received an email to upgrade to Movie Studio 2023 Platinum for $34.99. I did upgrade my software. I just noticed that there is a Movie Studio 2023 Suite version. Is there any way I can upgrade to the suite version for the $5.00 difference between versions?

It seems the New Blue section the difference between versions.

Hi.

Go to your product login page to get to the Magix email address and ask. Normally in the past they ask you to deregister your current purchase and give your purchase details to your last order so they can bill you. Then soon after assuming it is not weekend you should get a new product code to apply to your program. I don't remember having to uninstall it. The new product code should then allow you to download the additional plug-ins.

Hi there, I just purchased Video Deluxe 2023 premium. I'm trying to register the product with my voucher code in order to get my serial number via email to download and activate the product. The problem is that I always get prompted to put in a serial number, not a voucher code. What am I doing wrong here?!

Hi.

Activation codes start with the P3- . Vouchers are normally for third party plugins. Check your emails including possibly the spam folder for the correct email.

There are no Magix staff monitoring the forums. Only users, including the moderators. Make sure you copy and paste any Activation code you use including the P3- at the start. Do not lose any emails pertaining to purchases of Magix products or the replies. You may need them again at a future date.

If you purchased the software from a third party vendor and received a voucher code then you need to redeem the voucher first here.

Then, as @CubeAce has commented, you will receive your serial number by email.

If you have already redeemed the voucher and did not receive an email, contact Magix by email to infoservice@magix.net.

I can't get used to all the changes.

Is there any way to use the older hot keys?

Split = S hotkey
...not the new T hotkey

I don't understand a change like this.

Also, to speed up a selected clip you used to just hold Cntl and drag... now you have to add an effect to do the same thing...

Ughh.. I just want to go back to a previous version...

Are you aware this is a completely new program and no longer a Vegas product?

If you want the old workflow back you will have to upgrade to Vegas Edit Pro.

The payment system won't allow me to buy MAGIX Movie Studio 2023 Suite!
I have tried my debit card (mastercard) and a credit card (also mastercard) and both are rejected saying contact <customer support>, but I can't find any way to do so.
I have Magix Audio s/w & want to add video, if you will let me

EDIT: All sorted now! It was the offer priced in US$ that conflicts with UK £

FLAC audio import isn't working. I get a "make sure that your drive isn't write protected" error, which is a very "old" sounding message. It's working fine in the previous Movie Studios.

Hi.

This is because Flac audio on it's own is not supported by MMS 2023. It is not the same version of the program as it was when supplied by the Vegas development team. It has not got the same range of formats available to it as past versions of the product with the same name. You will have to upgrade to Vegas to be able to import FLAC files.

This topic is for feedback on magix Movie Studio 2023 (MMS 2023), not issues with the program.

Please create a new topic as the answers you will get may be long and detailed depending on further information you supply - ie

• Computer specification, Windows version and program version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full, and also what monitor/screen resolution(s) your are working with if this is a laptop. 
  
  I would suggest you put this information in your profile signature so we do not have to keep asking for it.
   
• Are the graphics card drivers up to date?
   
• A screen shot of the Program settings, Display options or Device options tab  would help.
  
   
• Export preset your are using and did you make any changes to it?
   
• If possible, repeat the export and watch the Movie time counter in the export dialog, if it crashes note the Movie time when it crashed.  On the timeline zoom in to show about 30 secs either side of the movie time noted, take a screenshot and post it your reply.

I upgraded from VEGAS Movie Studio 16 and received MAGIX Movie Studio 2023 Platinum - then I got perplexed because the interfaces between the two were like night compared to day 😵. So I had to go through another learning curve to understand MAGIX's movie studio, but I'm getting used to it now, and I love the multicam feature and the fact that it can sync multiple tracks. Other than that, I'm still trying to figure it out.

Magix Movie Studio 2023 is a very different program from the old Vegas Movie Studio.

There are a series of tutorials listed here which will help with your familiarisation and 'How to's', some are on the predecessor to Magix Movie Studio (MMS), Movie Edit Pro (MEP) which MMS is based upon and was rebranded 18 months ago, and the principles are the same except for Size Position and Rotation which had a major change in the 2022 version.

Many of the 'issues', or 'how do I do this', have probably been asked in other posts - use the Search feature of the forum - click your avatar at the top right for the dropdown menu.

Please create a new topic if you have any further questions - this topic is for feedback and posts made here may get lost, as you can see this topic is 12 pages long at this time.
