Exporting audio as MP3

I have Windows Media Player 11. When I try to export audio as MP3 out of MAGIX, I get an error saying that I need Media Player 10 or higher to use the MP3 stereo encoder. Why is this happening and what is the fix?

The problem sounds like it is with the encoder in Media Player 11. Magix uses a new encoder for Mp3 files that windows might not recognize. Try to update the codec in Media Player. If this does not work try installing 10 . Or download Winamp. Or export as a wav file, then convert using Media Player so it uses it's own encoder.
