David-Barselow wrote on 3/25/2023, 8:41 PM

Hello I am trying to create a export or mixdown or even to create a TAK file of each track in my project so that each object file even if they are connected (touching) in the track to export separately nonmatter of the size to my choice of folder I could not find a way to achieve this if you know of a way would you please share this as it is very important to me. It would make for a great feature. Thank you!

The option is under File, Export, Audio tracks as single WAV files....

@David-Barselow Music Maker cannot export objects individually, only the whole project or single tracks like mentioned in the comment above. You need Samplitude Pro for individual object export.

If I was to put a single space between the objects do you suppose they will get exported individually

Hi,

Out of curiosity, why do you want to do this? Is it because you have put effects on the objects and you want separate files that include those effects?

Otherwise, you already have the audio files on your hard drive.

No effects involved, I want to have easy access to them for further use I use song maker and when I end up with a project that I have created and like, then I would like certain object files to be availble for me. For instance, short string files I would like them to stay separate to put in a custom secondary folder for easy access and I would not have to go and look or search for them when I want them. O.k. with that said I installed Samplitude prox 7 trial and I think it deleted my project files because they are no longer in the default location under music maker and that is just very upsetting. Do you have any ideas what may have happened to them, maybe I can get them back by using the store some how?

@David-Barselow

Hi,

I hope that you made a copy of the MMM files before opening in Samplitude, although they should still be ok. Samplitude should save the project elsewhere - but you have to tell it where. Samplitude does not save MMM files, projects are saved as VIP files, thus the original files should not be touched. As a precaution always copy whatever you are going to use to a different location.

I just tested opening an MMM project in Samplitude, saving it with another name (default extension VIP). My original MMM project was not touched and still opened in Music Maker

As for the exporting the files from Music Maker, they are already on your hard drive. Just make a copy and put them wherever you want.

Also, before you record, make sure that you are saving the wave file with a representative name and to a folder that you want.

@David-Barselow Be aware that opening your MMM projects in Samplitude can cause that you are not able to reopen them in Music Maker in case Samplitude changes the help files.

Be sure to make a backup of everything before loading your MMM projects in Samplitude.

When you created this thread did you tick the box highlighted in this screenshot?

If you did but are not receiving notifications, do you have more than one email address? Forum notifications will always be sent to the user's registered (with Magix) address.

If you do not have another email address AND have ensured you always tick that highlighted box, I think you will need to email infoservice@magix.net, explain what is happening and request their assistance.

Hi,

Check your spam/junk mail. Yesterday that is where I received some forum messages and emails (not Magix-related) that have never gone there before. Strange.
