Error Cood: -14 on Re-installation

Xara Designer Pro X worked worked well for more than a year..... recently it gave me an error.... i uninstalled it and re-installed the app.... the instyallation asks for software to be registered again..... but now i am getting Error -14. This software was successfully registered before... and it shows on my account at MAGIX.... how do i get the software working again?

Hi and welcome to the forum.

When quoting error codes please give the whole message.

Error code -14 means that you're putting a valid MAGIX serial number into the wrong MAGIX product or version/edition, eg you have downloaded and installed the current version of the program however the serial number is for the previous version.

Check that you have installed the correct version for the serial number you have.

If not:

download the correct version from your account at magix.com, login with the email address and password you registered the soft ware with and select My products - there you will see your roistered products, serial numbers and download link.
Before installing the download uninstall the version you have just installed - we recommend using Revo Uninstaller free to do this and cleanup the files/folders and registry entries left behind - Revo will prompt you to do this after the un-install.
