@GrzeKon

Hi

Check that the Internet settings are set as shown in the images below - these are for Windows 11

Windows 10 and earlier versions have similar settings, which should be set on.

If that fails then when does the error occur?

What is your computer specification, Windows version and program version, see this topic for what is required and please quote processor and graphics card make/model in full.

I am getting the same error code while using the program's option to Optimize Database.

Device    HP Spectre x360 16" 2-in-1
Processor    12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700H   2.30 GHz
Installed RAM    16.0 GB (15.7 GB usable)
System type    64-bit operating system, x64-based processor

Here is the Task:

Here is the Message:

I click Show Error Report:

The program will do this as many times as I attempt to Optimize Database. I'm waiting to see if it will happen automatically before I reinstall Magix. I have been looking for an option to use the 64-bit version of the program. Is there one available, because then I'll just uninstall the current 32-bit version and restart the whole thing.

@Lloyd-Angus

Welcome to the Magix user to user forums.

Have you checked the settings referred to in @johnebaker's post directly above yours?

There is no 64 bit version of PM, sorry. It has not been updated for some years, unfortunately! (In fact, I notice it is not even listed within the forum's products; I will enquire why!)

@Lloyd-Angus

Hi

The error message screenshots would suggest that the program is being blocked from changing the file path, are you moving files to another (new) folder or location?

If so try temporarily disabling your Antivirus Folder protection/Ransomware feature.

If this works then you need to add the new folder location to your AV as an exception/permitted access.
