Thank you, SP but I think I may have to finally give it up as a bad job. There are so many issues and problems with Acid Pro. I really don't want to uninstall and start over yet again especially as no one has been able to explain why Acid pro was operating and then this error code -1 suddenly arose. The competition is fierce in the marketplace and as I have a number of other professional DAWS I feel I will just have to bite the bullet and learn how to use them as well as I knew Acid. It's a real shame. I'm gutted but I know once this error will be followed by endless crashes and too much time trying to sort software rather than making music. Thank you again for always stepping in to help. I'm really very grateful for all you do in this community. Appreciated.

@Alan-Pitt The cause is probably a current Windows update.

Bonjour à toutes et tous avez vous des nouvelles car je viens de changer de PC pour un Windows 11 et j'ai le code d'erreur1 j'ai désinstallé et a nouveau installé le logiciel est repartie et une foi fermé il remet sa erreur 1 merci si un de vous a la solution car j'aimerais bien l'utiliser

I'm using Acid Pro and my project plays perfectly in the software. When I render it audio cuts in and out throughout the whole project. I've tried several different players and even drop boxed it to my phone and still the same result. Any ideas? The old version before the most recent upgrade never did this.
